Every job we complete is covered by a 20 year full written company guarantee on all workmanship and all materials, issued as a proper written document, not a verbal promise.
What the guarantee is
When you have roofing work done you are making a serious investment in your home, and the clearest way to judge a roofer’s confidence in their own work is to see what they will put in writing. We back every job we complete with a 20 year full written company guarantee, covering both the workmanship and every material we supply and fit.
You receive it as a formal written document when the job is signed off. After 20 years in the trade we know what lasts, and we would far rather do a job once and properly than keep coming back to it.
What the 20 year guarantee covers
- All workmanship: stripping, preparation, underlay, battening, fixing, leadwork, flashings, verges, ridges, valleys and finish
- All materials: tiles, slates, underlay and membranes, EPDM systems, timber, fixings, lead, fascias, soffits and guttering
- Weathertightness: if water gets in through work we completed, we come back and put it right
- Defects and failures: any fault in materials we supplied or in the way they were fitted, corrected at no cost
- Labour and parts: no call-out fee, no hourly rate, no bill for replacement materials under the guarantee
- One point of contact: you call us, not a manufacturer
One phone call
Many roofing guarantees are quietly split in two: a short warranty on labour from the contractor, and a separate manufacturer warranty on materials that you are left to chase yourself. Ours is not. We take responsibility for the whole installation, so there is never a question about who to call.
If something covered by the guarantee goes wrong during those 20 years, you ring us and we come out. No claims form, no assessor, no argument about whose part of the roof it is.
The written guarantee sets out the work carried out, the materials used, the completion date and the full term. Buyers and their surveyors take notice of a roof with years of company-backed cover remaining, so keep it with your house documents.
Guarantee FAQs
Does it cover repairs as well as full roofs?
Yes. All workmanship and all materials on every job we complete, from a single flashing to a full re-roof.
Is it transferable if I sell the house?
Talk to us at the point of sale and we will confirm the position in writing for your buyer.
What is not covered?
Damage caused by something other than our work, such as a falling tree, an unrelated failure elsewhere on the building, or alterations someone else makes to what we installed.
Do I need to maintain the roof to keep it valid?
Keep the gutters clear and do not let vegetation take hold. That is normal care of a building, not a trap.
Is it insurance-backed?
It is a full company guarantee. If you want an insurance-backed guarantee on top, ask and we will talk you through the options.
When do I receive the document?
When the job is signed off, in writing, with the work and materials described.
