Privacy Policy
How we handle the details you give us when you ask for a quote.
Who we are
Bridgwater Roofing Company is a roofing business covering Bridgwater and the surrounding areas. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website and when you contact us. You can reach us on 0800 494 7291.
What we collect, and why
When you use the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address if you choose to give it, your town or postcode, and your description of the roof problem. When you ring us we may note the same details.
We use them to reply to you, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote, carry out the work and honour our guarantee. We do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to.
Our lawful basis
We process your details because you have asked us to take steps towards a contract with you, and once work is agreed, to perform that contract. We keep job and guarantee records because we have a legitimate interest in honouring the guarantee, and because tax law requires some records to be kept.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed to do the job, for example with a scaffold supplier who needs the address, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after a reasonable period. Records of completed work are kept for the length of the guarantee and as required for tax purposes.
This website
Form submissions are stored securely in the website’s database. The site may use essential cookies needed for it to work; see our terms and cookie notice.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Ring us on 0800 494 7291. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
