Where we mention conservation areas, listed buildings, Article 4 directions or building regulations, we do so in good faith from published sources. Rules change, and they apply to individual properties in individual ways. Always check with Somerset Council before committing to work that may need permission or consent.
Accuracy and external sources
We link to the sources behind the local detail on this site, such as the Victoria County History, Historic England list entries, Environment Agency and Met Office publications. We are not responsible for the content of external sites.
