Low ground and a tidal river
Bridgwater sits on the tidal Parrett at the edge of the Somerset Levels and Moors. Government figures put 18% of Somerset below average tide level, and the Environment Agency is building a tidal barrier across the Parrett to protect around 11,300 homes. The Met Office records about 787 millimetres of rain a year at nearby Cannington.

How often should gutters be cleared?
At least once a year, usually after leaf fall, and more often under trees.
My gutter overflows in heavy rain. Is it too small?
Sometimes, but more often it is a blockage, a poor fall, or an outlet in the wrong place. We check before recommending bigger gutters.
Can you match my cast iron?
Usually. Common cast iron profiles are still made.
Is this covered by the guarantee?
